BARTOLOMUCCI, Albert J. Age 95, resident of Newton, MA and Naples, Florida, passed away on June 26, 2018. Son of the late Enrico and Maria (D'Inverno) Bartolomucci. Predeceased by his wife Carol Nelke Bartolomucci, and his son Mark Frederick Bartolomucci. He was the loving brother of his late sisters, Leona and Bernice Bartolomucci and his late brothers Michael Lick and Dominic Bartolomucci and sister-in-law Sue. He is survived by his nieces Jane Schofield and Gail Cox, his great nieces Jennifer Bell, Andra Bowen and Abby Schofield and his great nephew Andrew Cox. He also leaves his long-time companion, Mickey Murphy. Albert was a WWII Navy veteran who served on the USS Woolsey 437 in the north Atlantic and the USS Halligan 584 in the Pacific theater. After the war, Albert and his wife started and ran the successful jewelry store, Carol the Gold Lady in Nonantum. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA, Friday, July 13 at 11:15 AM.
