Gardetto, Albert J., of Auburndale, 86 years of age passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on September 24, 2018. Albert is predeceased by his wife Mary D. (Driscoll) Gardetto. Devoted father of Gail Gardetto of Chelmsford, Susan Casserly and her husband Peter of Chelmsford, Gerry and his wife Dawn of Leominster, Cathy and her husband Tim of So. Easton. Dear brother od Bernard A. Gardetto, Jr. and the late Stephen L. Gardetto. Adored papa of Will, Jack, Patrick, and Fiona, all of Chelmsford. He also leaves behind his loving niece Diana Lux and nephews, Stephen and Michael Gardetto. He was a US Marine who served his country proudly in the Korean War. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Friday, September 28 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton. Funeral from the Funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bernard Church, West Newton at 10:00 AM. Interment service private.
