Anthony John Gemelli, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Anthony was born and raised in East Kingston, New Hampshire. He proudly graduated from Exeter High School and the Seacoast School of Technology in 2019. From a young age, Anthony had a deep love for being outdoors. He had a passion for hunting, with some of his earliest and best memories being the hunting trips he shared with his dad in the woods behind their East Kingston home. As he grew up, that love only deepened, and some of his happiest moments were spent in a tree stand, sharing the woods with the people he loved most. This hunting season, and every season to follow, the woods will be a little emptier without him.
Anthony was always the life of the party. Anyone who knew him would agree that there was never a dull moment when he was around. He had a larger-than-life personality, an unforgettable sense of humor, and a remarkable ability to make anyone laugh, no matter what kind of day they were having. Anthony had a way of turning even the most ordinary moments into memories that would be talked about for years to come. His laughter was contagious, his jokes were relentless, and he lit up every room he walked into.
But, what Anthony was best known for was his heart. Beneath all the wild antics was one of the most genuine, kindhearted, and loyal people you could ever hope to meet. Anthony was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. Fondly known as “Tony” at work, he built a career he was proud of at Reeds Ferry Sheds, where he was part of a close community of coworkers who became like family to him. He was hardworking, generous, and always willing to lend a hand.
Anthony is survived by his father, Francis “Buddy” Gemelli, and his fiancée, Cindy Leavitt; his mother, Becky Mansfield, and her partner, Tony Peel; his sister, April Gemelli, and her partner, Garrett Bedard; his nephew, Gabriel, and niece, Zoey; his cousin and chosen brother, Nathan Mansfield; his “Uncle Dan” Mansfield with whom he shared many memories; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends and loved ones who will miss him tremendously. He is now reunited with his grandparents, Chester and Sandra Mansfield, Francis and Mary Gemelli; his nephew Quinten; his close friends Joey and Kam; and his beloved pets Midnight and Dubba.
Anthony’s life was far too short, but, in his 25 years, the impact he made on the people who knew him was immeasurable. He will be remembered not only for the joy he brought into the world, but for the extraordinary heart behind it all.
Anthony, give heaven some hell.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Anthony’s life on Monday, November 9, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Barn at Powder Major’s Farm, 6 Cherry Lane, Madbury, N.H.
