Ava Wilcox Bond of Wellesley, beloved wife of 72 years of the late George Robert Bond, passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 98.
Born in Greenville, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Earl Wilcox and Myrtle Wilcox Berridge. She was predeceased by her brother Max, and sisters Vonnie Thomas, Jean Slentz and Iris Schuppert. She greatly enjoyed visits from her several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Central Michigan College, Ava went on to earn her master's degree at Colorado State in Greeley, CO. She was a dedicated elementary teacher specializing in art, who most recently she taught at Underwood School in Newton.
Funeral services will be private.
