Barbara B. Cancellieri died on September 28, 2022, following a brief illness and surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph G. Cancellieri. Barbara is also survived by two sons, Andrew B. Cancellieri (Jenny) of North Bennington, VT and Christopher Cancellieri of Hudson, MA, her siblings Patricia Adams of Ashland and Rodney Blake of Billerica and two grandchildren Joseph and Allison.

A graduate of Newton North High School, Barbara was employed for 35 years as a secretary at the Second Church in Newton. She was an avid walker for exercise, active in her church, enjoyed gardening, collecting clocks, works of local artists and Indian artifacts, and enjoyed bird watching. In addition she loved traveling to Vermont to vacation at her homes in Pomfred and lake house in Barnard.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8th at 10AM in the Second Church in Newton, 60 Highland St. West Newton followed by interment in Newton Cemetery.
