Barbara Pearl of Natick (formerly Wellesley) died July 28, 2025 at 93. In support of her wishes, her long goodbye ended peacefully at home with her much loved family. She was born in Newton, MA to William and Dorothy McGrath on April 14, 1932. She was the loving wife of Leland (Jack) and Mom with unconditional love for her "8 angels" and their spouses: Leighann Stanton, Donna (Larry White), Mary, John (Jane), Kathy Annese (Keith), Cindy Jackman (Wayne), Debbie Lima (Rob) and Bill Pearl. Grammy to 11 adoring grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; Aunt to many and Queen Mom to all. Barbara's life revolved around family and faith – always happiest surrounded by family – the more, the merrier. She called on her faith many times, most especially with the too early losses of her husband, son John and grandson Billy. In addition to raising her family and with the support of Nana, she worked for AT&T, The Stitchery and retired from Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. Mom will be missed immensely but we know we have another angel smiling down on us. It is said grief is the price we pay for love. We won't cry because it's over, we will smile because it happened and celebrate a life well lived. Funeral services were private.
