Daniel J.Nigro, age 78 of Newton, formerly of East Boston and Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with a long-term illness on March 10, 2021.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Loretta J. (Ferranti). Loving father to Denise McNair and her husband Darren of Dorchester, Danielle Khitrik, and her husband Roman of Newton.

He was a proud Pa of three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his brother James R. Nigro of Salem, MA.

Daniel was a graduate from East Boston High School and Bentley College. He retired from the Office of the State Auditor and moved to Ocala, Florida where he enjoyed his passion for Golf.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, Funeral Services will be held privately.
