Denise (Hern) Wood, of Wellesley, December 30, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Wood and cherished daughter of the late Gerald V. and Miriam (Walsh) Hern. Denise is survived by dozens of cousins and "grand-cousins", Gerard's family, and a host of friends from her childhood, her church, her years as a schoolteacher, and the many years she and Gerard were active in the Hyde Park Lions Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at St. Paul's Church, 502 Washington Street, Wellesley, Friday morning, January 2, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
