Dino Tonelli, of Newton, October 31, 2017. Beloved husband of Rita (Goudreau). Loving father of Michéle Lary and her husband Don of Deerfield, NH and Francesca Carmignani and her husband Joseph of Franklin. Also survived by his dear grandchildren Nicholas and Madeline Lary and Isabella and Ava Carmignani, as well as niece and nephew Carol Ingemi and Daniel Tonelli. Mr. Tonelli worked as a waiter at many well know Boston establishments including the Ritz Carlton, Copley Plaza and the Harvard Club. After his retirement he was an active volunteer at St. Francis House in Boston and has been a friend of Bill Wilson for 34 years.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Parish, 1321 Centre St. Newton Centre followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Tonelli's memory may be made to the St. Francis House at www.stfrancishouse.org.
