Donald J. Buckley of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Lynnfield, MA, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Beloved husband of Sharon (Nerbonne), he is the loving father of Annemarie Buckley Shaffer and husband Brian, Dawn Buckley, Kelley Buckley Scott and the late Donald J. Buckley, Jr. Devoted grandfather to: Caroline Elizabeth Buckley, Abigail Dawn Buckley, Madeleine Buckley Shaffer, Lauren Buckley Shaffer, Brett Buckley Shaffer, Emmett Buckley Scott, Owen Buckley Scott, and Graham Buckley Scott.

He was the dear brother to Judith Crowley and her husband Arthur, Joan Hughes and her husband James, and the late Jean Buckley, Patricia Gagliardi, Robert Buckley, Kathleen Martin and Paul Buckley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as brother-in-law Gerard Martin and sisters-in-law Edna Buckley, Elaine Buckley, and Karen Buckley.

Donald enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and loved traveling and boating.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:30AM in Sacred Heart Parish, 1321 Centre St. Newton Centre followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting hour will be held immediately prior to the Mass from 9:30-10:30AM in Sacred Heart Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
