Donald P. McNeil, a lifelong resident of Newton, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 78. Son of the late Herman and Mary McNeil, he is the beloved husband of Judith (Morse) and loving father of Ronald J. McNeil and his fiancee Edie Arbetter and Robert P. McNeil and his wife Janet. Dear brother of Frederick McNeil, Virginia Murphy, Margaret Butler, and the late Patricia Udell, Carol D'Angio and Jean McDonnell. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Ronald J. Jr, Devin, Shannon, Marykate and John McNeil as well as 4 great grandchildren Ronald J. III, Oliver, Orlaith and Walter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11AM in St. Bernard Parish 1523 Washington St. West Newton.
