Doris Dasilva's Obituary
Doris DaSilva, (Smith) - Born June 20th, 1934, and passed peacefully January 23, 2023.
Doris grew up in the Brockton area and graduated from Brockton High School and graduated from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing while raising her family. She had a very proud and extensive nursing career in critical care.
She raised her family in Halifax Massachusetts with her husband Ernest DaSilva. She retired with him to Gainesville Florida. After Ernie's passing Doris was fortunate to find a wonderful loving husband and companion, Phillip Skelly who she remained with for the rest of her life.
She loved to travel and crossed the country on three different occasions. Doris loved music especially sing-alongs around the old piano, long walks in the woods and dogs. Especially dogs!
She had a huge loving heart and will be sorely missed by all her family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers please donate to your local SPCA or Animal Rescue League.
