E. Howard "Howie" Fairweather, formerly of Auburndale, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family Monday, October 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Betty Lou (MacClure). Loving father of the Late Robert (Kathy) Fairweather, Kathleen Ann (Paul) Hunt, Maureen "Moe Moe" Chiappa, Alan Fairweather (the late Laura), Dottie Golledge (Joe Bosselman) and the late Michael Fairweather (Toni Peladeau). Devoted grandfather of Micah, Erica, Jeffrey, Adam, Marisa and Heather, he is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 18th from 2:30-4:30 in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton. Howie was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. A private burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
