Edward Joseph Keefe, Jr., 57, of Carver, MA unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack on February 5, 2022. Ed was born in San Francisco, California to Edward and Dorothy (Scott) Keefe. Ed was the beloved husband of Mary McLoughlin Keefe of Wellesley, MA and devoted father to Matthew Keefe and his wife Isabella as well as beloved "Grumpy" to his five grandchildren Joshua, Mackenzie, Michael, Jeremy and Ella of Framingham, MA. Ed was a graduate of Braintree High in Braintree, MA. Ed spent many years as a software developer and an embedded systems designer. Ed had a passion for learning, technology, music and mentoring others. He had a lifelong love of vintage computers, lasers and was active in a number of related hobbyist groups. Ed is also survived by his sister and her family as well as a number of cousins. Donations can be made in Edward's name to Shane Gives Thanks in Carver, MA.
