Edward (Ed) Shapiro left us on November 17th , 2024 at the age of 77, just shy of his birthday, November 22nd , with his wife by his side. He is finally at peace after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Shapiro, his sister, Linda Houghton, his two sons, Jason and Keith, his wife Kristy, and his two grandchildren, Cameron and Brooks. His family and friends will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

To commemorate his journey, a memorial service will be held in his honor at the Newton Cemetery & Arboretum located at 791 Walnut St., Newton Center, MA 02459. The service will take place in the chapel at the cemetery on November 22nd, 2024 at 10:30am, followed by his burial. We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering a truly remarkable man.
