Kerns and his wife Martha of Framingham, Edward J. Kerns of Alexandria, VA, Margaret Kerns of Millis and the late Anna J. Kerns and Tess Kerns. Loving aunt of Jack, Scott, Jennifer, Emma and 7 great nieces and nephews. Also survived by cousins Leona, Paul, Mary, Marsha and Jane. Ellie had a brilliant career on Wall Street and in retirement enjoyed painting and cooking. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Saturday, February 24 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St, Bernard's Church, West Newton at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
