Devoted father of Kevin Barber and his wife Melanie of Stoughton, the late Kathleen Barber Hoffecker and her husband George whom lives in Stamford, CT. Stepfather of Brian Donovan and his wife Caitlin of Watertown, Kenneth Donovan and his wife Adriana of Billerica. Dear brother of Ann O'Brien of California and William Barber of Mount Holly, NJ. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Wednesday evening, December 27 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Family and friends will gather for visiting hours Thursday morning, December 28 in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St. Newton from 9:30 - 10:30, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
