Gail Taplin (Kirkcaldy) of Tyngsborough, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 20205 at the age of 78.

Born in Springfield, MA, Gail was raised in Newton, graduating from Newton High School class of 1964. She is the beloved wife of 50 years of Michael Taplin and loving sister of Bruce Kirkcaldy and his wife Debbie of Waltham. She is also survived by step-son Keith Wilson, sister-in-law Linda Addington of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gail was a talented artist and singer who entertained with the chorus group Women of Note for over 30 years.
She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and community.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17th at 12PM in the Chapel at Newton Cemetery, followed by interment. An hour of visitation will be held immediate prior to the service from 11AM - 12PM in the Chapel.
