Gerard Wood of Wellesley April 26, 2018. Survived by his wife and best friend Denise Hern Wood and loving beagle Bridget. Dear brother of Lloyd Wood Jr. of Clarence, NY, Paul Wood of Hanover, John Wood of Hyde Park, Michael Wood of Houston, TX, David Wood of S. Norwalk, CT and Regina Sylvester of Overland Park, KS. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 30 at 10AM in St. Paul's Parish 502 Washington St. Wellesley followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-8PM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley Hills. Gerard was a longtime member of the Hyde Park Lions Club.
