Avid world traveler, Gilda Marinucci (D'Alleva) formerly of Auburndale for almost 50 years, has embarked on her final journey.

Gilda passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at home in Wellesley surrounded by loved ones. Beloved wife of the late Pio Marinucci, devoted mother of Sheila (Dennis) and Leslie (Brian) and treasured nonna to Luke and Emma.

She is also survived by two sisters and sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear, longtime friends.

A Roman Catholic Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 3, 2023 at Noon, in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley.

Visiting hours will be held immediately prior to the Mass from 10-11:45AM at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley.

Interment at Newton Cemetery will be private.
