Brigham, H. Amy Bull , 103, long time resident of West Newton, died on December 16th at Norwood Hospital. She was the adored wife of the late F. Gorham Brigham, Jr. and the daughter of Robert Lee Bull and Alice Scotten Bull of Bel Air, Maryland. Mrs. Brigham leaves her children, Lorena Scotten Brigham Faerber (Kent) of Amherst,

F. Gorham Brigham III (Susan) of West Newton, and William M. Brigham of Dedham as well as her daughter-in-law, Lynette Eckes Brigham of West Roxbury. Her son, Dana Slade Brigham and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Gibson Brigham predeceased her. She is also survived by her grandson, William P. Brigham (Melissa) of Franklin, her granddaughter, Kara M. Brigham of West Newton, great granddaughter, Leigha Faye Brigham of Franklin, her step-grandson Lee Souter (Victoria) of Toronto and her step-granddaughter, Skye Souter of West Newton.

Mrs. Brigham graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1935, and pursued a career in nursing in New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC for several years before marrying in 1941. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a consummate homemaker and accomplished seamstress who also enjoyed tennis, golf, and bridge.
