A member of the Berkshire Community for over 40 years, Henry J. Gallitano died on October 31, 2024, at age 96.
A devoted family man, Hank was a proud Army veteran and a leader in supply chain management. Hank is survived by his wife, Kathryn, three children, Lisa Clark (Kenneth), Dennis (Karen O'Connor) and Thomas (Margaret Talmers), thirteen grandchildren, Joseph (Neza), Rachel Clark (Mark Palazzolo), Stephanie (Aman Singh), Catherine Goodall (Jack), Christina, Hannah Clark Hardy (John), Angela, Alexander (Alex Strada), Victoria Clark Weingart (Daniel), Lia, Nicholas, Kathryn O'Connor and Michael O'Connor, and eight great grandchildren, Jensen Clark, Karan Gallitano Singh, Lillian Gallitano, William Goodall, Amara Gallitano Singh, Alessia Gallitano, Sean Goodall and Russell Clark Hardy.
Hank and Kathryn loved to travel, having toured and worked around the world. He will be remembered for his good humor and storytelling and how proud he was of his Italian heritage. Known to many, he was a pianist, wrote music and musicals, was a singer and director of choirs, and participated in barbershop choir competitions.
He will be missed but remembered by us all.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 15th at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills. An hour of visitation will be held immediately prior to the Mass from 9:30-10:30AM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley Hills.
