Obituary

Inez Walsh Moore of Scituate, formerly of Wellesley, daughter of the late E. Corbett Walsh and Norinne (Feeny) Walsh, wife of her beloved husband, Thomas W. Moore, answered God's call on February 24th in Jupiter Florida. She was surrounded by her devoted husband, six children, younger sister, nephew and close friends.

Inez leaves her children: Thomas W. Jr., Jefferson Corbett, Nicole Roman (Derek), Martina Cravedi, Quentin (Kimberly) and Marya (Shannon Bergh); sixteen grandchildren: Jefferson, Jack, Brendan, Andrew, Tommy, Todd, George, Marcus, Derek, Calvin, Norine, Jameson, Quentin, Logan, Charlotte, and Cole; her siblings Bonnie Stoloski (William), Quentin Walsh (Randi), Toni Curry (Brian), 13 nieces and nephews and her furry favorites Jaxon and Aho.

Inez is predeceased by her twin boys, Timothy and Robert, and brothers E. Corbett Walsh SJ., Robert (Robo) and Thomas (Tucker) Walsh.

"What a glorious day!". Inez's mantra as she walked to her favorite "piece of heaven on earth", Minot Beach. Securing her spot "at the opening", her toes in the sand and surrounded by family, especially her sixteen grandchildren, she was content. Her day was complete when at the stroke of five Tom arrived with her vodka and tonic in hand. It would be after sunset before Nez would stroll home. "Moore Manor" was invariably filled with family, friends, and friends of friends, who would share her incredible meals and warm hospitality. Even if you entered as a stranger, you left with a bear hug, a smile and an open invitation to return.

When seasons changed, Nez could be found on a field, or at the rink cheering on her grandchildren, tailgating with Tom at Holy Cross, supporting the Ursuline community or just enjoying a good card game with friends. She was a card shark, the Wheel of Fortune wizard and the Rummy Tile queen. Nez seldom answered calls or emails, she was too busy living life. She loved seeing the world and going on adventures, but her favorite places will always be Juno Beach and Bermuda, surrounded by her family and friends.

If there was a need, there was Nez, showing up with a meal, a warm hug, her huge smile and always a prayer. She will be deeply missed.

When we reminisce about the things she used to say,
we miss her and think she is so far away.
We remember what she gave lives on through us,
and one day we'll see her on the sandy shore at dusk.
