James Kolton, Md's Obituary
Dr. James P. Kolton, 72, of Boston, MA, formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away on the morning of March 22, 2023.
Dr. Kolton spent 37 years as a pathologist at Norwood Hospital and also served as the blood bank director at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston. He was a member of the Paulist Center community.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, son Michael, daughter Laura, all of Boston, as well as beloved siblings Kenneth, Cynthia, Kathryn, Robert and their families, all of Michigan.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, March 30th from 4:00-7:00pm at Burke and Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington Street, West Newton, MA. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:00am at Saint Joachim Church in Rockport, MA followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to projectbread.org
