Janet
Fitzpatrick
July 22, 1944 – March 22, 2026
Janet M (Greathead) Fitzpatrick, of Sherborn, formerly of Natick and Wellesley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the age of 81.
Janet was born on July 22, 1944, in Newton to the late George Greathead Sr. and Anna Benson. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Leo J. Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her sons Leo J. Fitzpatrick Jr. and MaryKate of Natick, Glen Fitzpatrick and Leslie of Natick, her brother George Greathead Jr. and his wife Marcia, and her sister Laurie Foote and her husband Carl. She was a devoted grandmother to Leo III (Joe), Cara, Michael, and Kelly Fitzpatrick. She was predeceased by her sister Christine Chasse.
Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren and her friends at Sherborn Meadows. She was an avid gardener and loved to read and bake. While Janet worked in many places, such as Jack Payne Florist, for Cystic Fibrosis, and the Wellesley Credit Union, she loved being creative. Through her crocheted blankets, wooden paintings, and sewing creations, a small piece of her will always be with us.
