Loving father of Charles Robertson and his wife Molly of New York, Thomas Robertson of Newton, and Emily Robertson and her boyfriend Shamus McGillicuddy of Watertown, and grandfather of Zachary Dunnewind and John Robertson. Dear brother of Virginia Alyea of Indiana, Carol Rumerfield of Oregon, and Tom Robertson of Missouri. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28 at 11:30AM in the Lutheran Church of the Newtons, 1310 Center St. Newton Centre. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 9-11AM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton.

Jerry received two degrees from MIT and was a proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps serving as a Captain in the Vietnam War.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Newtons in his memory.
