Joanna Vilimas, 67, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Brighton, Massachusetts. Born on September 25, 1957, in Cook County, Illinois, Joanna lived a life marked by individuality and a steadfast commitment to her own path.
Throughout her life, Joanna embraced a unique sense of self. She found comfort and meaning in her personal interests and the possessions she held dear. Her journey was one of independence and authenticity, shaped by choices that reflected her distinct perspective on the world.
Joanna's relationships with family were complex at times, yet they remained an integral part of her story. She is remembered by her children: Kai Phoenix, Jaqueline Hannon, and Joseph Hannon; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hannon; and her grandchildren: Larry Larabi, Abrahame Larabi, Peter Tracey, and Abigail Hannon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vilimas and Jaqueline Vilimas.
