John J. Cronin Jr. of Newton, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Stelita (Martins), he is survived by children Christine and Ken, and grandchildren Emily and Lilly. Dear brother of Mary Balboni of Center Ossipee NH and the late Leo Cronin, Ann Hamel and Dorothy Beaulieu.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:30AM in Our Lady Help of Christians Parish 573 Washington St. Newton followed by interment in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hour will be held prior to the Mass from 9-10AM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton.
