Obituary

Kanella Sutton of Weston passed away after a long battle with Pick's disease. Born in Boston in 1948, she was an honor's graduate of Girl's Latin School and University of Massachusetts/ Boston. She was an educator and the first Greek bilingual teacher in the Boston Public School System. She was proud of her Greek heritage and was very active in her church and Greek community activities. She will be remembered by her friends as a sweet and caring person who was a very stylish dresser, avid gardener and for preparing special Greek meals and pastries for her guests. She leaves her husband Peter, her daughter Erica, her son Andrew, her grandchildren Robert, Avery, Emmet, Teddy, and Paras, her step grandson Cameron, and her son in law Robert Gibbons.

Funeral services will be at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston at 10am on June 15, with a short visiting hour at the Church at 9am. In lieu of Flowers donations in Kanella's memory may be made to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Iconology fund.
