Kevin Collins' Obituary
Kevin (Casey) J. Collins, 69, of West Newton, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved son of Jean and Edmund Collins, of West Newton, Casey dedicated his last seven years to overseeing their care and fulfilling their wishes to remain in their home.
As a child, Casey enjoyed baseball and hockey, then took up golf and more recently hiking and biking around New England, exploring places he had never seen For many years, Casey ran his own painting business. He
was meticulous in his work which kept his business thriving up to retirement.
He leaves behind his parents, sisters Gail Lennon, Janet Collins, and Laura Doherty, brothers Robert Collins and
Mathew Collins, and many nieces and nephews. Casey was pre-deceased by his brothers Michael and Brian.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 10AM in St. Bernard Parish, 1523 Washington St. West Newton followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
