Lillian Mary DeLorie (Watson), a lifelong resident of Wellesley, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 93.

Beloved wife to her childhood sweetheart, the late Fred P. DeLorie and loving mother of Frederick P. DeLorie Jr of East Bridgewater, Paula M. Elliot of Wellesley, and James W. DeLorie of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 4 cherished grandchildren Jessica Rose Elliot, and David, Jacqui and Daniel DeLorie as well as great grandson Solomon Jackson DeLorie. Dear sister of the late Beatrice Miller, Helen Calvario, Robert, Arthur, Esther, Barbara and Edna Watson.

Lillian, a lunch lady at Fiske School for many years, loved working with children. She was both a brownie and cub scout leader and organized the "Dunedin Road Club" where she hosted neighborhood cookouts, block parties and card games for the adults. Always the life of the party, Lillian lit up any room she entered.

A talented singer, she was a founding member of the Golden Ears of Millis singing group. She spent many happy hours singing to the birds outside her kitchen window as she did dishes in her Dunedin Road home.

Above all, Lillian loved spending time with her family. Her happiest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren by whom she will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 5th at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Parish, Wellesley followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5PM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.
