Linda Marie (Ford) Romano, of West Newton passed away at the age of 74. Beloved wife of 53 years to George W. Roman Jr. She is the loving mother of Christopher J. Romano of Newton and Nicole L. Kennedy and her husband Douglas of Walpole, and dear sister to Gail Tacelli, Leonard Ford, Helen Ward, and the late Mary Nugent. She is also survived by 5 cherished grandchildren: Mason, Hunter and Logan Kennedy and Rebecca and Brody Romano as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born in Everett to the late Joseph and Mary (Fisher) Ford, Linda was a graduate of Fitton High School, class of 1966. She worked as a customer service representative at the Village bank in Auburndale of over 25 years. She loved to travel and shop, but above all else, adored spending time with her grandchildren. Their annual trips to Disney World will remain a treasured family memory.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, January 23rd at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi-St. Bernard Parish, 1523 Washington St. West Newton followed by interment in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton.
