Callanan, Mabel B. (Parker), In Plymouth, formerly of Newton, February 26, 2018. Beloved wife of the late J. Edward Callanan. Devoted mother of James Callanan of Ashland, Kristine Cornwell and her husband Charles of Cumming, GA, Richard and his wife Holly Callanan of Ridgefield, CT. Loving grandmother of Jason Cornwell, Ryan and Allie Callanan. Also predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. Mabel was a longtime resident of Newton and Plymouth and a Registered Nurse at the Waltham Hospital. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed the beach. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Thursday, March 1 at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Newton at 12:00 Noon. Visiting hours Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in Newton Cemetery.
