Cronin, Mary Kathleen "Kay" Culligan, of West Newton, completed her life's journey on May 31, in her 98th year. Born in Culligan, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Culligan. Her husband Eugene (Gene) Cronin, and sons Joseph and Walter Cronin predeceased her. Mother of Mary, Anne, John (Michaelene), Michael (Crystal), and Eileen. Blessed with and beloved by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kay earned RN certification from St. Mary's Hospital in Montreal. She enjoyed golfing and bridge Very devoted, generous, and caring, Kay and her husband Gene were inducted into the Knights of Malta. A Wake of fond remembrance for Kay will be held on Monday, June 4, from 4-8 PM at the Burke and Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., West Newton, MA. Kay's life will be celebrated at a Funeral Mass at 10 am on Tuesday, June 5, at St. Bernard Church, 1523 Washington St., West Newton. Thank you dear Mom.
