Michael “Mike” Patrick Lynch of Wellesley, Massachusetts passed away on September 27, 2026. Born and raised in Dedham, Massachusetts, Mike displayed a lifelong love of family and friends.

Mike graduated from Catholic Memorial High School, where he played and captained the varsity hockey team. He then attended Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, Sales and Finance.

Mike enjoyed a highly successful career in technology financing spanning several decades, receiving several professional awards and honors. Later in life, he pivoted his career to follow his passion for landscaping and fine gardening, working across the Greater Boston area.

An accomplished and passionate golfer, Mike participated in numerous tournaments throughout his adult life and posted several victories in both individual and team events. He also loved fishing, spending countless weekends on the ponds and rivers around Eastern Massachusetts, often in the company of his loving son Michael, to whom he passed on his love of golf, fishing and nature.

Mike will always be remembered by those who knew him for his warm and outgoing personality, infectious laughter and genuine interest in everyone around him of all ages.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marie (Bullock) Lynch and their two children Michael and Julia. He is also survived by his mother, Kathleen (Rabs) Lynch and father, Thomas Lynch, of Dedham; his sister, Kelly Lynch Dwyer, and her husband, David, of Hooksett NH; his brother Kevin Lynch, of Attleboro; his brother Stephen Lynch, and his wife, Leslie, of Norwood and his sister, Carolyn (Lynch) Doherty and her husband, Greg, of Millis.

Mike had many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who adored him for his humor, compassionate nature and genuine kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at Wellesley Village Church, 2 Central Street, Wellesley, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Camp Harborview
