Michele T. Carroll "Shelly" of Stow, passed away peacefully although unexpectedly on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the age of 63. Born in Boston to Alice M. (Operach) and the late John W. Carroll, she was a graduate of Newton North High School class of 1976, and worked as a bookkeeper for St. Mary's Credit Union for many years. Shelly was an accomplished athlete throughout high school playing multiple sports. She had a love of nature and photography, acting as the family photographer at special occasions.

Along with her mother Alice, Shelly is survived by her siblings; Darryn Carroll and his wife Linda (Stankard), Laurel (Carroll) Cohen and her husband Steven, Darci Carroll and John Ambrose, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lynne (Carroll) Richard and baby brother Scott Joseph.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 1 at 10:30AM in the Chapel at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St. Newton, followed by interment in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-7PM at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton.
