Nancy L. Walsh of Wellesley, MA, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, James "Jim" Walsh. She and Jim were high school sweethearts and together for 68 years. Loving mother of Sean Walsh and his wife Sue of Saco, Maine, she is the proud Nia of grandchildren Megan, Kaitlyn and Riley. Nancy is also survived by her sister Ellen Ray and her husband Jim of Lynn. She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Fleming and dear sister of the late Jan Tourte.
Nancy owned and operated a daycare and pre-school in Wellesley out of her home for many years. She also modeled and was featured in a movie and local commercials. She was involved in the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club as well as many other groups in town. She also loved playing bridge. Above all, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters doing many different activities as they grew. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley. Visiting hours Sunday from 3-6PM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.
