Owen J Finnegan, Son of the late Owen and Rosa Finnegan, passed away December 6, 2022 with his family by his side. He was 78 years old. A resident of Dracut Mass, formerly of Needham Mass. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy of 51 years and adoring children O.J Finnegan, Amy Joyce and her husband Mike, beloved grandchildren Nick, Noah and Payton Joyce, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He attended Springfield College and was a civil engineer for the town of Wellesley for 42 years. A member of the Village Club in Needham and American Legion in Natick. Owen had a passion for sports, he published two sports trivia books and was a featured guest on "Calling All Sports" on 96.9 FM radio. He was a magnet with everyone he met, quick witted and very humble. Always a devoted father and grandfather. Loved being with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. REST IN PEACE, WE LOVE YOU. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Dec 15 at 10:30AM in the Henry J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St(Rt 16) Wellesley Hills. Visiting hours are Wednesday, Dec 14, from 5-8PM. Interment will be private for the family.
