Obituary

Paul Adams McNulty, 93, of Newton Centre, MA, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2023. Born in Medford MA, Paul was the son of Paul Adelor and Martha McNulty. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Suzanne McNulty, children from his first marriage Paul McNulty and his wife Nancy of Danvers MA, Catherine and her husband William Rich of Dedham MA, Bruce McNulty and his wife Caryl of Bedford MA, Brian McNulty of Dedham MA, Carole and her husband David Pendleton of Waltham MA, Martha and her husband Kurt Heiden of Faro Portugal, Joseph McNulty of Andover MA, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dear brother of Martha Jane McGowan of Melrose MA, and the brother of the late Jeanne Cresse and Carole Lutton. He is preceded in death by his first wife Lillian (d. 1989), the caring and loving mother of all his children.

Paul graduated from Medford High School in 1947. After graduating from Tufts University in 1951, he began a long career in marketing and sales and has fond memories of his time spent at New England Nuclear, Inc. When Paul retired, he continued his lifelong educational pursuits by teaching and attending classes at local colleges and traveling around the United States and the world with his wife Suzanne. He was always available with advice (solicited or not) for his children and any others willing to listen.

Visiting hours will be 8:30 to 10:00 am on Monday August 21 at Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. West Newton, MA 02465. A funeral mass will be celebrated on the same day at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church 1317 Centre St, Newton Centre, MA 02459. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Good Shepherd Community Care.
