Richard Barry 69, of Wellesley, passed away, after a long illness on March 31, 2022.
Richard was the son of William F. and Angelina (Palladino) Barry. Devoted father of Melissa Dulin and her husband Michael of Clover, SC. Cherished Grandpa of Kristina and Brent also of Clover, SC. Caring brother of William of Wellesley, Robert of Marlborough and Brenda Wright of Bradenton, FL. He was predeceased by his sisters, Carol Bankowski and Edwina Wright. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richard was a graduate of Wellesley High School, Class of 1970. After High School, he volunteered for the United States Marine Corps. Later he worked over 25 years for Wellesley College until his retirement.
Richard was a member of the Italo-American Club of Wellesley and a past member of the Reliance Club also of Wellesley. He enjoyed family, friends, golf and the Boston Sports Teams.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, June 11, 2022 at St John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills, at 10 o'clock. Interment will be private for the family.
