Robert Philip Barsamian of Chestnut Hill, MA, formerly of North Andover, Age 90, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his devoted family November 15, 2018.
Born September 20, 1928 to the late Kachadoor and Vartanoosh Barsamian from Armenia. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria Grillo Barsamian; his two children Lisa Green and her husband Stuart of Chestnut Hill, Robert M. Barsamian and his wife Joan of West Newton, and his three grandchildren Robert P. Barsamian, Michaela L. Barsamian and Murray R. Green. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Minasian and her husband Stephen and a flock of nieces and nephews from New England and Arizona.
Bob attended Boston University and served overseas with The US Eighth Army in Tokyo, Japan.
He was in The Motion Picture Business as an Exhibitor, Distributor and Producer for over seventy years. Bob Loved Movies. Movies were not only his business but his life.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Parish, 1321Centre Street Newton, MA at 1pm on Saturday, November 17th followed by private burial.
