Rose J. Fontaine of Wellesley, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Eudore J. Fontaine, Jr., she is the loving mother of Catherine Cantwell and her husband Richard, Christopher Fontaine, and his wife Lisanne, Carolyn Fontaine and her partner David Levy, Stephen Fontaine and his wife Susan, and Thomas Fontaine and his partner Maureen Sullivan. She is survived by her sister Janet Springs. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rose was a loving wife and mother as well as a talented gardener, music lover and fabulous cook.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb 23, from 5 to 7pm, at Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington Street, Wellesley Hills. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 24, at 10AM, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd., Wellesley. Interment will be private.
