Sarah was born on October 1, 2000 in Natick, MA to Susan and John Calcio. She attended Saint John School and Wellesley High School where she was a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Honor Society in Latin, in which she earned Summa Cum Laude honors. Sarah was also an avid photographer and artist. In her free time, Sarah volunteered as a coach for Wellesley Youth Basketball, served as a Peer Minister at her parish, and babysat.
Sarah will be remembered for her acerbic wit, her love of rock music (especially Tom Petty) and alternative television series, her vibrant fashion sense, and her appreciation of the outdoors. Sarah was an old soul who liked to think about and discuss life, philosophy, mathematics, and the universe with her family and friends.
Sarah is survived by and lives on in her parents, Susan and John Calcio; her sisters, Maggie and Lucy Calcio; her grandparents, Rebecca and John Halleron; her great-aunt Frances Calcio; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins—all who love and miss her dearly.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 27th at 10 AM in Saint Paul Church, 502 Washington St., Wellesley, MA , interment will be private.
