Theresa M. Woernle, nee Connolly, of Newton, MA died peacefully on Thursday December 9, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 93. Theresa was born on August 13, 1928 in East Bridgewater, MA to Timothy A. Connolly and Rose (O'Reilly) Connolly.

She is survived by her sons Robert and his partner Patricia Sullivan, Michael and his wife Margaret and Christopher and his wife Beth. Loving Nana to Kalala, John, Grace, Mara and PJ. Survived by her sisters Rosemary Leahy of Melrose, MA and Patricia Swanson and her husband Gus Swanson of Gilbert AZ, brother John Connolly of Stoughton MA and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert, and her siblings Jeremiah Connolly, Timothy Connolly, Madeline O'Neil, Katherine Lavoie DiBona and Edward Connolly.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 10AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church located at 28 Commonwealth Ave, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
