Therese (Teri) Struth, born and raised in Newton. MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at the age of 61. She was born November 28th, 1962 and was the daughter of Dorothy and Tom Murphy. Teri leaves behind her husband Gary; her daughters, Bridget and Olivia; and her siblings Tom, Irene, Mary, and Judy, and was predeceased by her sister Nancy.

Teri always worked multiple jobs from hairdressing to human resources to real estate, she did it all. In addition to her careers she was also the best mom, cook, and homemaker. She always cooked for an army and always expected you to be hungry.

Teri was extremely proud of her family and loved nothing more than spending an afternoon on her back deck in the sun with her dog.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 11 at 10:30AM in Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 573 Washington St. Newton. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 5:30-8PM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, West Newton.
