Venkatramani Lakshmibai of Newton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday December 2, 2023, at the age of 78. She is survived by her son Girish Venkataramani and his wife Jennifer Dignazio of Berkeley, CA, her grandson, Dhulipala Rakhal of Mumbai, India, her former husband M.P. Venkataramani of Mumbai, India and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Professor emeritus, Northeastern University.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7th at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington Street, West Newton, MA from 5:30 to 6 PM. Followed by a funeral service at 6 PM.
